As weekend has started, check out the list of Netflix Best Fantasy Movies of All Time to spend your weekend in a better way. The very finest (and the very worst) of genre movies can be found on Netflix, and the fantasy genre is no exception. Starting at the top, a few classics will spark your interest, followed by a wide spectrum of subgenres such as fantasy dramas, superhero actioners, and terrifying horrors.
I am gonna share few Netflix Best Fantasy Movies of All Times below:
The Old Guard (2020)

The Old Guard, while not technically a superhero picture, features a slew of thrilling action sequences that explode with each of lead Charlize Theron’s gunfire. Andy is played by Charlize Theron, and he is the head of a company of immortal mercenaries that includes a knight who fought in the Crusades. Although it can’t avoid every cliché, the centuries-old warriors embark on a revenge expedition, delivering progressive characters and sleek conflicts.
Nightbooks (2021)

This dark fantasy, co-produced by Sam Raimi, boasts great horror credentials. Nightbooks, which is still intended at younger audiences, is a mystery about a little boy who must find out how to get out of a magical apartment possessed by Krysten Ritter’s witch Natacha. A fun-filled tomb. Check this out: Recap of Apple Event March 2022
A Monster Calls (2016)

J.A. Bayona, a Spanish director who has already moved out into massive franchise chapters like Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom and the first two episodes of Prime Video’s planned Lord of the Rings series, is behind this dark fantasy drama. But it’s his coming-of-age stories that he excels at; A Monster Calls depicts a disturbed young boy named Connor who meets a tree that offers to tell him three stories in exchange for Connor telling him one. A Monster Calls is a brilliant, compelling fantasy tale with roots in darker topics, one of which being death.
The Spiderwick Chronicles (2008)

Enjoy two doses of a young Freddie Highmore’s acting prowess as twins in this fantasy based on the same-named book series. The Spiderwick Chronicles immerses you in the realm of woodland fairies, whose many species are documented in a convenient and much-desired field guide. The Spiderwick Chronicles is a hectic yet amusing fantasy film that combines family difficulties with wonderful, CGI-driven adventure. Errementari (2017)

From Christmas to Halloween, we have Errementari, a horror tale about a pact with the devil, which is translated from Spanish as The Blacksmith. A blacksmith in northern Spain in the 1830s maintains a demon captive until an orphan girl unintentionally releases it. In the furnace of this hellish terror with surprise lashings of black humour, you’ll find war, murder, kidnapping, suicide, and more.
A Boy Called Christmas (2021)

A Christmas cracker that’ll make you feel all warm and fuzzy inside. A Boy Called Christmas isn’t particularly inventive, but it does exactly what it says on the tin. With his companion Blitzen at his side, Nikolas sets off on a journey to find the famous elf town. There are no rewards for guessing what will happen when it comes to gift-giving hijinks.
The NeverEnding Story (1984)

You’ll have a hard time getting the theme music from NeverEnding Story out of your head. The Simpsons, Stranger Things, and even the name of a metal/hardcore punk band have all referenced the 1980s fantasy blockbuster recently. All of this is based on a narrative about a little kid who uses his imagination to preserve the kingdom of Fantasia.
Stardust (2007)

Allow Neil Gaiman and Charlie Cox to take you to Stormhold, a mythical realm. Stardust follows Tristan Thorn (Cox), a young man who helps preserve a fallen star in the shape of a young lady, based on Neil Gaiman’s novel of the same name. Do they develop feelings for each other? Is it true that the sun rises in the east? Stardust gives pleasant pleasure with Claire Danes, Michelle Pfeiffer, Sienna Miller, Mark Strong, and Robert De Niro among the beautiful cast, even if it may go crazy with its absurdity at times.
