National Chiao Tung University Scholarships 2023 – Fully Funded

The National Chiao Tung University Scholarships 2022-2023 is fully funded for international students. NCTU International scholarships are also available for master and undergraduate studies. These scholarships provide $700 per month to undergraduate students, $733 per month to master’s students, and $966 per month to doctoral students.

National Chiao Tung University awards scholarships to deserving international students from around the world with outstanding academic and research records in order to promote internationalization. The scholarship is funded by grants and subsidies from Taiwan’s Ministry of Education (R.O.C.). The scholarship is theoretically offered for a one-year academic year but may be renewed based on applicants’ academic achievements and research records. Scholarship Benefits

  • Undergraduate students: a tuition waiver or a monthly stipend of up to NT$21,000 (US$700).
  • Students pursuing master’s degrees may be eligible for a monthly stipend of up to NT$22,000 (US$733) or a tuition waiver.
  • Doctoral students can receive up to NT$29,000 (US$966) per month or a tuition waiver.

Eligibility Criteria

  • English is a requirement.
  • All countries around the world are eligible.
  • Candidates must have a master’s degree or an official transcript from their 18-year-old schooling to apply for a Ph.D.
  • Candidates must have a strong academic background.
  • must be keen on studying or conducting research in Taiwan
  • Extracurricular achievements, community involvement, social responsibility, and leadership abilities will be prioritized.
  • Students must be able to demonstrate proficiency in the English language (if you have an English proficiency letter from your previous institution it will be acceptable)
