Eligibility Criteria
- At the time of application for the Malaysian Government MTCP Scholarship 2023, you must be under 45 years old.
- Applicants for the Master’s Degree Program should have a minimum of Second Class Upper (Honours) or a CGPA of 3.5 at the undergraduate level.
- Proof of English Language Proficiency: Scanned copy of the original proof of English Language Proficiency, such as IELTS (minimum total score 6.0); or TOEFL paper-based test with a score of 500 or an internet-based test with a score of 70; or TOEFL paper-based test with a score of 500; or TOEFL paper-based test with

Required Documents
When applying online, the following documents will be required:
- Form of application
- A certified copy of passport as proof of nationality (valid for at least 6 months).
- Academic transcripts must include a record of all courses studied throughout the degree program.
- Applicants must submit transcripts from their undergraduate studies, as well as an official certificate from their alma mater that explains the university’s grading methodology. If an applicant’s transcript does not provide CGPA, grade point average, or percentile score information. Certification is required for all documents.
- A certified copy of the TOEFL or IELTS English Language Proficiency Tests.
- Two (2) referees’ letters of recommendation.
- Form for endorsing.
